PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE NEWS: New residential development consent at farmland in a conservation area in Wiltshire

We are delighted to achieve planning consent for our client for the conversion, alteration and extension of Pinniger’s Farm, thanks to a design conceived by our architects.

Originally, a working farm – the new development will create a small, bespoke residential development of six new dwellings. This has been achieved by converting the traditional stone barns, allowing for the owners to promote the land as an exciting opportunity for a new developer.

The site is located in the East Tytherton Conservation Area, near to a Site of Special Scientific Interest which made the consent particularly challenging to achieve with a large number of ecological considerations and protracted negotiations.

A successful outcome for the client and providing the opportunity to sensitively contribute to rural housing numbers.
