Tour De France route through Yorkshire is revealed

The 2014 will aim to create the ‘buzz’ of 2012’s London Olympics after the revelation that a stage will finish in the Mall as well as having two stages passing through Yorkshire!!
It has been confirmed that there will be a stage going through the Yorkshire Dales to Harrogate and another from York to Sheffield. The first stage in Yorkshire will go through Ilkley and Skipton (close to the Rural Solutions office), the renowned market town, then through the heart of the Yorkshire Dales to Leyburn, and finally finishing in Harrogate.
The second stage will commence in York and cover areas such as Keighley, Haworth – home to literature classics the Bronte sisters, Hebden Bridge, Huddersfield and coming to an end in Sheffield.
It is thought that more than one million spectators will watch the spectacle bringing tourism and history to this beautiful part of the country.
