CONSTRUCTION NEARS COMPLETION AT ECO-HOUSE IN NIDDERDALE AONB
We are excited to share an update on the eco-house that nears completion at a rural village in the Nidderdale AONB. The eco-house features include a ground source heat pump, rainwater recycling, mechanical vent with heat recovery and a sedum roof. There’s just the bridge access to now complete. The design is based around a ribbon of dry-stone walls which weave their way down the slope and the house accommodation is folded into them to create and stunning, yet sensitive, new house.
The eco-house is a great example of Rural Solutions services working together. The eco-house was designed by our architecture team and planning permission was secured by the Rural Solutions planning team.
