CONSTRUCTION COMMENCES AT PARA 79 SITE IN NIDDERDALE
We are delighted to be able to follow the construction of one of our most exciting Para 79 developments. This project has been a long time in the making. Rural Solutions, originally attained planning permission in 2016, however, the site was then sold in 2019 to a new owner who returned to Rural Solutions to make the design a reality, employing our architecture team to co-ordinate the detailed design of the development and project management.
The design is for a unique, contemporary dwelling; an impressive and structurally challenging project. The development will incorporate copper cladding, visually complementing its woodland setting. It’s defining feature is the spectacular outlook through the extended floor to ceiling windows, that are structured on 12 metre cantilevers extended over the water garden.
The property will be a ‘zero carbon’ house, using a ground source heat pump to produce a renewable energy system and a sedum roof.
An exciting and bold design in response to a unique heritage woodland and water garden setting.
