We are now well into the new year with a general election on the horizon. We have compiled local plan updates which we hope will provide clarity on the planning framework to guide important decisions. This update reports on the status of local plans in North Norfolk.

NORTH NORFOLK

North Norfolk Local Plan

The Draft North Norfolk Local Plan was submitted to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities in May 2023. The new plan will guide development decisions in the district until at least 2036. An Independent Inspector has been appointed by the Secretary of State to review the plan.

Public Examination Hearing Sessions Open

Public examination hearing sessions are scheduled to take place over three separate weeks from January to March 2024, starting on 23rd January. For further details please see North Norfolk Local Authority website or contact nicole.wright@ruralsolutions.co.uk
