Project Co-ordinator

To be part of a team coordinating the delivery of a portfolio of client projects, supporting the professional team to meet the highest standards of client service, delivery effectiveness and compliance.

We are seeking a new member of our team to support the delivery of our portfolio of client projects with a focus on client service, delivery effectiveness, compliance, and quality assurance.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career, with an appetite to work on a varied set of projects, learning as you go to gain a unique perspective on how a boutique professional services firm operates.

The role will form part of a small team responsible for coordinating the delivery of our project work, working closely with the professional team to enable efficiency and a high standard of project management. You will undertake a range of administrative and project support tasks including:

· Project portfolio and case management: Support and enable Service Line Heads (SLH) to oversee project delivery, meet sales targets, allocate work, manage team schedules, and manage delivery to hit key milestones and targets.

· Support to the SLHs in co-ordinating the delivery team, scheduling work and the oversight of project delivery.

· Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.

· Create and update the CRM system, records, databases and reports with project, financial and other data.

· Quality control of companywide documentation including proofreading.

· Support monthly fee forecasting, financial management, and invoicing.

· Support the delivery of business process improvement projects.

· Maintain a library of research resources and undertake ad hoc research tasks.

· Support with administration and logistics for the delivery of complex projects.

· Ad hoc management of agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the senior management team.

· Inbox monitoring (where required).

· Answering telephone calls, triaging new enquiries and communication of telephone messages to the relevant persons.

Person specification

To thrive in this role, the successful candidate will need an appetite to work at pace across multiple projects, a flexible and self-starting attitude, and a desire to learn and grow in the role.

The ideal candidate will have;

· At least 2 years post graduate (or equivalent) experience in an administrative or project support role with experience overseeing a variety of projects and business processes.

· Strong organisational skills with experience of managing projects and the ability to work on multiple projects at once.

· Strong computer skills, with a particular proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes.

· Excellent attention to detail with the ability to show initiative to improve business processes.

· A focus on compliance and quality.

· A confident communicator who can express requirements clearly and hold people to account in delivering to those.

· Takes ownership and can be trusted to deliver on targets and deadlines.

· Experience in client service and ability to effectively deal with client communications by telephone and email.

· Able to build and maintain constructive working relationships with colleagues at all levels.

· Experience working with CRM systems would be of benefit.

  • £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Senior Planning Administrator

To assist a senior team of chartered town planners in the provision of effective planning administration.

Duties to include:

· Assistance with the running of the planning team’s projects.

· Liaising with suppliers outside of Rural Solutions who are producing inputs to planning applications and appeals.

· Undertake administration of planning projects.

· Undertake research for members of the planning team.

· Monitor planning applications and report consultation responses to the planning team.

· Monitor the preparation of new local plans.

· Submit planning applications and appeals on behalf of the planning team.

· General assistance to members of the planning team to ensure effective performance.

· Any other responsibilities commensurate with the role.

Required skills:

· Excellent verbal and written communication.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Excellent time management.

· Proficient in using Microsoft Excel.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus

Salary:

  • £32,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
