Growing our Design Team with a new acquisition

Based in Oxfordshire, Alexander spent several years working for AJ100 leading practices where he gained a breadth of experience working on projects in the residential, education and healthcare sectors, before establishing NineTen Architects.

Alexander has a Masters in Engineering from the University of Leeds and graduated with a first-class degree from the Oxford Brookes School of Architecture, where his focus was on regeneration and sustainable design.

He brings a passion for sustainable design and conservation, as well as championing the use of low-carbon construction technologies such as engineered timber and off-site manufacturing.

His experience encompasses a wide variety of design projects, including historic estates, individual country homes, lodge parks, leisure, later living, and commercial schemes, many of which are situated in sensitive rural and heritage locations.

On joining Rural Solutions, Alexander said:

“Bringing my practice into Rural Solutions feels like a natural home given my passion for high-quality, sustainable rural design. My ethos is aligned with that of the Rural Solutions’ team in that I design with a ‘place first’ approach, creating buildings that enhance their settings and are sensitive to their surroundings.
